We make the world sustainable – this vision underlies everything. From product selection to supplier conditions to the recyclability of our products. Through elocompanion, elobau looks outwards and offers its experience to other companies to help them on their way to sustainability.
Because we had to pave the way for ourselves, we can now be the companion we would have wished for back then.
We have been carbon neutral since 2010 and pay attention to the sustainability of the company. Since then, we have been working to reduce our ecological footprint, but also to meet the aspects of social and economic sustainability. Over the years, we have had to gain experience ourselves, acquire knowledge, test, analyse and drive all the measures that have now brought us to where we are. We are among the pioneers in sustainability in our industry and are proud to be able to take on this pioneering role.
We would now like to pass on this knowledge. For this purpose, elobau has founded the subsidiary elocompanion. The sustainability support advises medium-sized companies on the path to sustainability. The team consists of 14 elocompanions: elobau’s specialists who are responsible for different areas and have contributed to making elobau a company fit for the future. The elocompanion is controlled by the sustainability management team: Michael Hetzer, Chairman of the Advisory Board of elobau and sustainability sparring partner, as well as sustainability manager Patrick Löw, sustainability advisor Martin Thierberger and sustainability officer Pascal Schwarz.
