elobau will be presenting products from the fields of level measurement and machine safety to trade visitors in Nuremberg. A special highlight will be the new suction lance eloLance. Designed for use in interchangeable canisters, the combination solution for liquid extraction and level measurement offers a particularly low extraction point. This enables more economical and sustainable handling of the liquids and the residual quantities in the container are reduced. The eloLance functions without seals, which means that it does not require any media-specific seals and can thus be used universally. The freely movable clamping cone also increases flexibility in use and reduces the need for model variants.
Another focus is on magnetic safety sensors. Safety doors, hoods or covers can be safely monitored with non-contact and thus wear-free sensor technology. The magnetic sensors from elobau can also be installed concealed behind stainless steel thanks to high switching distances and offset values. This enables seamless integration into systems and meets hygiene requirements. elobau has developed safety sensors in stainless steel especially for safety gate monitoring on food processing machines. Due to their resistance to cleaning agents and temperature, these sensors are ideally suited for use in hygienic and wet areas. The variants with ATEX approval (in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU) also enable use in environments where there is a risk of gas and dust explosion.
An additional product highlight at the elobau booth is the eloFlex safety evaluation unit. With the help of its optimized software, it can implement up to four safety functions. These can be defined individually and according to requirements via the online configurator. It is then produced in the specified configuration in a climate-neutral manner and delivered tamper-proof so that it can be installed directly.
Diverse sensors for level measurement and position detection
Also on display at this year’s SPS: The float switches from elobau. They are available in a wide range of variants and offer ideal solutions for a large number of application areas. The range includes miniature and immersion float switches for vertical installation and flip float switches for horizontal installation. The sensors allow precise level measurement.
Ultrasonic sensors from elobau will also be on display at the company’s booth. They are used to measure distances and their changes. This allows objects in motion (approach or distance) or fill levels in tanks to be measured and monitored. The physical principle behind this enables reliable precision from which many applications benefit.
There will also be an opportunity at SPS to get to know elobau’s ATEX portfolio. elobau has many years of expertise in the development and production of ATEX components. They offer solutions for safe position monitoring as well as object detection and level measurement.
