The offer is intended as a support for parents working at elobau and enjoys great popularity. The costs for the camp, including meals, are completely covered by elobau. A total of 33 children between the ages of eight and twelve participated this time. The camp took place at elobau in Leutkirch in the apprentice workshop under the direction of the technical instructors.
Training manager Florian Wachter and his team had come up with a varied program. The girls and boys had the opportunity to make six kits – including a wind generator, a solar racing car and a miniature electronic organ – and thus gained practical access to technology. The apprentices were very committed and supported the children. The physical well-being was also taken care of: the little participants were able to refresh themselves at lunch together in the company’s organic canteen before continuing back to the training workshop in the afternoon. A tour of plants 1 and 2, during which the children also had the opportunity to visit their parents at their workplaces, completed the eventful week.
